Law of Karma and the Self -Awareness of Deep Seated Motive - An EQ Moment

When you do good, you get back good

We all have delved into the Law of Attraction at some point of time and and its profound impact on our lives. Now, let's turn our attention to another universal law that is closely linked to our manifestation and success—the Law of Karma. Far from being confined to Eastern philosophies, this concept has crossed cultural boundaries, resonating with the core tenets of Western philosophies and religious teachings. It serves as a universal moral compass, compelling us to confront a timeless and universally accepted truth: "When you do good, you get back good". In our rapidly changing world, the concept of Karma has transcended its mystical origins to become a widely embraced, mainstream understanding of ethical cause and effect.

"The Law of Karma is intricately tied to the creative capacities of the Super Conscious Mind. When we engage in acts of kindness, we often believe we're setting the stage for good to come back into our lives. But what many fail to realize is that the Super Conscious Mind isn't swayed merely by the act itself, whether it be charity, volunteer work, or philanthropy. Rather, it's the underlying intention—the deepest motive—that truly influences the manifestations in our life.

"So, what is this 'deepest motive' that we talk about? Why did you truly decide to engage in that charitable act? Was it for financial gain? Likely not. But other motivators might be at play. Maybe you're seeking social acceptance from an elite group, or you're trying to outdo someone else in a competition of kindness. Or perhaps you're motivated by a sense of guilt, or even a more condescending perspective towards those you're helping. These hidden motivations dictate how the Super Conscious Mind manifests experiences in your life. The bottom line? While we may think we're doing good for its own sake, the real power behind any impact we make is often rooted in motives that are self-centered, albeit unconsciously so. They can range from wanting to project a certain image to society, to adhering to religious norms due to fear of judgment, or even using charity as an escape from loneliness."

While it's important to understand the deeper motives behind our acts of kindness, let's not overlook the inherent value of doing good. Regardless of your inner motivations, engaging in charitable acts still produces a more positive outcome than not doing anything, or worse, doing harm. What's crucial to remember is that the Super Conscious Mind doesn't necessarily reward your actions with material gains; rather, it grants you experiences based on those deeper motives. For instance, if your genuine motive for giving is rooted in love and care, the universe will reciprocate with experiences filled with love and compassion.

When your deepest motive for giving centers around genuine love and care, the Super Conscious Mind creates an environment that perpetuates this cycle of love. For instance, you may have come across individuals who exude an aura of warmth and love so naturally that they draw people to them. These people, often referred to as 'huggable,' attract love not just from their family and friends but even from complete strangers. Their Super Conscious Mind has, in effect, created an environment where they are constantly enveloped in love and positive energy.

On the flip side, if your deepest motive for giving is rooted in pity, you may find that the universe reflects this back onto you. Consider the example of a wealthy philanthropist who donates large sums of money out of a sense of pity for the less fortunate. This individual, though outwardly celebrated, may return home to an empty house, devoid of loved ones, eating meals in solitude. Onlookers may, in fact, pity him for his loneliness. His Super Conscious Mind has manifested an environment where he becomes the recipient of the very emotion—pity—that motivated his actions in the first place.

This is why ancient texts and spiritual practices emphasize giving 'in the name of the Lord' or the Universe. It acts as a buffer, distancing us from potentially selfish or unclear motivations and aligns our actions with a higher purpose, as ascertaining our deepest motives can often be a complex undertaking despite our best intentions.
